Marie H. Roegler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Marie H. Roegler, 87, of Centralia, died June 28, 2009.

She was born December 12, 1921 in Vergennes, daughter of Ardell and Clara (Sutter) Arendell who preceded her in death.

Ms. Roegler was a retired clerk-typist for the Illinois State Police in Du Quoin. She was a member of the Retail Clerk Union. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and church choir.

She married George H. Roegler, June 12, 1940 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death in 1950.

Surviving is: son, George A. (Patricia) Roegler of Altadena, Calif.; daughter, Melinda (Jim) Mulvaney of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; brother, Floyd Arendell of Heber, Ariz.; and three grandchildren including Melissa (Joseph) Keller of Charlotte, N.C.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Stephen Roegler and one infant brother.

Ms. Roegler was cremated.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the Sutter Cemetery in Du Quoin.

There will be no public visitation.
