Norma J. Schwarz

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Norma J. Schwarz, age 79, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 4:10 p.m. in Hitz Memorial Home, Alhambra.

Norma was born on June 30, 1930 in Pinckneyville, a daughter to William H. and Alma (Blaas) Mohr. On December 11, 1948, she married Willard H. Schwarz in Pinckneyville, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1977. Norma was baptized on July 27, 1930 at St. John Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. She was confirmed on April 18, 1943 at St. Paul E & R Church and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville. She had worked for Walkers 5 & 10 store in Pinckneyville, and was a homemaker. Norma loved spending time with her family and her many dear friends.

Norma is survived by two daughters: Barbara (Roger) Wachal of Greenville, and Wanda Clark of Cleveland, Ohio, two sisters-in-law: Iona (Cyrus) Keller of Pinckneyville, and Viola (Richard) Marlow of Pinckneyville, four grandchildren: Katherine Wachal and Laura Wachal both of Greenville, William Clark of Chicago, and Lisa (Guy) Seguaro of Cleveland, Ohio. Three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Alexander and James Seguaro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son: John Schwarz, infant daughter: Helen Schwarz and one brother: Clarence Mohr.

Funeral services will be held in St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.

Friends may call at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 5 until 8 p.m. and then on Monday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Hitz Memorial Home or Heartland Hospice.
