Robert William Heape

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert William Heape, 84, died at home on Aug. 10, 2009 in Fort Myers, Fla.

He was born March 7, 1925 in Tamaroa , Ill. to Albert and Fern (Hester) Heape. He was the eldest of three sons, including Wilbur (deceased) and Albert Dale (Norma) Heape of Tamaroa, who survives. Bob is also survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilynn (Polley) Heape, son Allen Heape and wife Rev. Jeanne (Davis) of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; granddaughters Dr. Nancy Heape of Lawrenceville, Ga., Michelle Davis (Chad) Cromwell of Sugar Hill, Ga., grandson Jeff (Lara) Davis of Melbourne, Fla., three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a veteran of WW II , serving with the 20th Air Force in the Pacific Campaign.

A Memorial Service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Beach United Methodist Church on Fort Myers Beach where he has been a member for 36 years, with Rev. Jeanne Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's name to Beach United Methodist Church or to Hope Hospice.
