Amelda Frieda Fapp

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Amelda Frieda Fapp, 94, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin.

Amelda was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith.

She was born Dec. 1, 1914 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of William and Johanna Katerina (Pflanz) Bryant.

She married William Fapp and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one niece - Cheryl Weinberg of Terrell, Tex. and one nephew - Charles Weinberg of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister - Ruth Marie Weinberg.

Graveside services were at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Those attending the service were asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
