Mieka Alexzandra Queen

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mieka Alexzandra Queen, 2, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:38 a.m., Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at the Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mieka was born March 31, 2007 at Carbondale, Ill., the daughter of Chandra Queen and Stanley Rector.

She is survived by her parents - Stanley Rector and Chandra Queen, both of Du Quoin, siblings - Naythaien Queen, Elizabella Rector, Kaylee Bloomfield, and Camben Bloomfield, all of Du Quoin, grandparents - William Queen, Jewel Queen, Vickie (Taylor) Killingsworth, and Pam Jackson, all of Du Quoin, and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with David Betts officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Gerstenschlager Family Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
