Ella Grace Feltmeyer

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ella Grace Feltmeyer, 95, of Tamaroa, passed away at 11:05 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Ella was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tamaroa.

She was born Feb. 26, 1914 at Tamaroa, Ill., the daughter of Marion and Elizabeth Ellen (Jackson) Preston.

She married Elmo L. Feltmeyer on Oct. 23, 1935 at Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2002.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters - Viola Nickens, Dorothy Nickens, Lucille Hill and Floy Shurtz and two brothers - Marion Kenneth Preston and Lawrence Preston.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Bro. Raymond Baggott officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial was in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.

Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church at Tamaroa or Tamaroa Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
