Bobbie C. Gossett

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bobbie C. (Bob) Gossett, age 75, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Elkville, Illinois passed away at 7:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Life Care Center in LaCenter, Ky.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 with Pastor James Kerley and Rev. Tim Gossett officiating.

Bob was member of the First Baptist Church of Paducah for 24 years. He previously served as Deacon at First Baptist Church in Elkville, Illinois. He was the former Personnel Manager at Du Quoin Packing Company in Du Quoin, Illinois. During his later years, he was self-employed.

Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha Joyce Gibson Gossett; two sons, Rich Gossett and wife Joella of Du Quoin, Ill. and Bob Gossett of West Paducah, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Caitlin Williams, Colby Williams and Cannon Gossett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Nellie (Patridge) Gossett; step-mother, Hazel (Glenn) Gossett; one brother, James F. Gossett, Jr.; and one niece, Lucy F. Gossett.

Visitation was held from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home, 120 Memorial Drive, Paducah, Ky.
