Funeral services were held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Rev. Gregory J. Schultz officiating. Burial was in the Ava Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to TIP Hospice, the Alzheimers Association, or St. Peter Lutheran in Campbell Hill General Fund.
