Nina G. Snyder

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Nina G. Snyder, age 74, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at 3:52 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

Nina was born on July 14, 1935 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Arthur and Nellie (McCrary) Jenkel. She married Clyde Cotton on Oct. 4, 1952 in Peoria, Ill., and later married Bud Snyder.

Nina was of the Baptist faith. She was a beautician, owner and operator of Lukes Cafe for three years, managed Shirk's Bar for five years and managed the Eagles Lodge. Nina lived in the Peoria, Ill. area for many years before moving back to Pinckneyville, Ill. and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Nina is survived by three sons: Vernon (Karen) Cotton of East Peoria, Ill., Allen (Gwinne) Cotton of Spring Bay, Ill. and Richard (Zelda) Cotton of Naperville, Ill., one sister: Lois Runion of Pinckneyville, Ill., two granddaughters, two grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until. 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until. 11:00 a.m.
