Raymond K. Hagston

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Raymond K. Hagston, 65, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:44 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Raymond had worked for the Pinckneyville Fish Processing Company. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a member of the Du Quoin Eagles.

He was born Feb. 1, 1944 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Raymond H. and Ruby (Ross) Hagston.

He is survived by three sons - Danny Hagston, Mark Hagston of South Carolina, and Colby Rice, four sisters - Jean Kash of Du Quoin, Nancy Baltzell and husband Jesse of Du Quoin, Judy Martie and husband Charles of Dowell, and Marsha Polley and husband Danny of Vero Beach, Fla., one brother - Lyle Hagston and wife Sharon of Tamaroa, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Per Mr. Hagston's request, cremation services were held following the service.
