</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Junabeth W. Brunson, nee Weatherford, 86, of Westminster, Md., formerly of Belleville, Ill. born Thursday, Nov. 9, 1922, in Pinckneyville, Ill., died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 in Summerville at Westminster in Westminster, Md.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, Ill., Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O. Chapter G.M. and First United Presbyterian Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Brunson Sr.; parents: John "Pete" and Mary Jane nee Mansker Weatherford and brothers: Frank, Howard, and John Weatherford.

Surviving are sons: Fred W. (Janet) Brunson Jr. of Kaneohe, Hawaii and Steven (Beth) Brunson of Sykesville, Md.; brother: Robert Weatherford of Pinckneyville, Ill.; sister: Mary Jane Weatherford of Pinckneyville, Ill.; nine grandchildren: Catherine, Melinda, Clarissa Rosalin, James, John, Joshua, Joel, Jennifer and Joanne Brunson and great-granddaughter: Angel Marie Brunson.

Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church.

Friends called from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at the Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill. and from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at First United Presbyterian Church Chapel in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at First United Presbyterian Church Chapel in Belleville, Ill. with Rev. Dr. Greg Stovell officiating. Interment followed at Valhalla Cemetery in Belleville, Ill.
