Harry Wayne Liska

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harry Wayne Liska, 65, of Carterville, passed away at 1:25 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at his residence.

Harry had worked as a painter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was born Nov. 26, 1944 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Jerry and Lois Fern (Robinson) Liska.

He is survived by one son - Brian Wayne Liska of Carterville, Ill., one brother - Jerry Liska and wife Phyllis of Herrin, Ill., and one sister - Donna Rose Kent of St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers - Vince Liska and Robert Laverne Liska.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends called from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
