Norma Jean Ralston

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Norma Jean Ralston, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away with her children at her side on Nov. 30, 2009 at 1:41 p.m.

Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale. Funeral service was on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale Houston, Texas 77023.

Norma was born in Piggott, Arkansas and lived in Flint, Mich., St. Louis, Mo., Ft. Worth, Tex., Seville, Spain, Knob Nobster, Mo., Grand Heights Air Force Base, Japan, Wichita Falls, Tex., Du Quoin, Ill. and Houston, Tex. before settling down in Onalaska in 1992.

Norma worked at Jerry's Restaurant where the regulars affectionately called her Miss Norma. She always had a smile and a kind word for the patrons of the restaurant.

Norma's greatest love was for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and she took every opportunity to visit with them. Her life was filled with love from each of them.

Norma is survived by her three children Glenda Pestka of Walshville, Ill., Blaine Ralston and his wife Regina of La Porte, Tex., and Michael Ralston and his wife Tracy of La Porte, Tex., nine grandchildren Tiffany Numi, Heather Pestka, Alyssa Ralston, Codi Ralston, Whitney Pestka, Taylor Ralston, Cole Ralston, Lauren Ralston, Kendra Ralston and four great grandchildren Aubrey Pestka, Olivia Numi, Landon Numi, and Logan Numi.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, her mother Lula Bradford, and father McKinley Bradford.
