Ilda Jean Sutton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Ilda Jean Sutton, 86, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 in Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin, Ill.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel, Rt. 51 North, Decatur. Burial was at Fairlawn Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family via email at www.dawson-wikoff.com. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.

Mrs. Sutton was born in Peoria, Ill., Oct. 12, 1922, the daughter of Arthur H. Morey and Myrtle Blanche Neideffer. She worked as a bookkeeper all of her life. Ilda was a former member of the Moose Lodge and loved to play bingo. She was affiliated with Moundford Free Methodist Church in Decatur.

She is survived by her daughters: Cindy Lynch and her husband John of Tamaroa, Ill. and Lynda Burton of Peoria, Ill., grandchildren; John Mitchell Lynch, Genevieve Peterson, Natalie Juhl, Daniel Shaff and Ryan Shaff and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: her parents and her husband.
