Charlene (Brazitis) Spytek

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Charlene (Brazitis) Spytek, 57, of Elkville, Illinois passed away at 11:40 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Charlene was born Nov. 28, 1952 in Christopher, Illinois to Charles and Betty (Spinks) Brazitis.

She married Ronald Wayne Spytek Oct. 20, 1973 in Carbondale, Illinois. He survives in Elkville.

She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Betty Brazitis of Royalton; a son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Sarah Spytek of Elkville; a sister, Jane Brazitis of Royalton; her mother-in-law, Mary Spytek and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her father, Charles Brazitis preceded her in death Aug. 17, 1991 and three uncles, Levis, Frank and George Brazitis.

Mrs. Spytek was a homemaker and of the Catholic Faith. Charlene loved nature and the outdoors growing hybrid irises, feeding hummingbirds; she made delicious chocolate fudge. Most of all, she was the world's greatest mother and wife. She will be forever missed.

Memorial services for Mrs. Spytek were held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009 at Vantrease Funeral Home in Royalton. Visiting hours were after 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home until the time of the services.
