Connie Lou Heiple

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Connie Lou Heiple, 58, of Murphysboro, passed away at 3:32 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.

Connie had worked as a medical secretary for Prairie Cardiovascular in Carbondale. She was of the Christian faith. She was also involved with Pat&#39;s Kids Organization.

She was born June 13, 1952 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Howard and Bertha Faye (Miller) Davis.

She is survived by one son - Jacob Heiple of Murphysboro, two daughters - Amy Geilhausen of Charleston, S.C. and Emily Johnson of Murphysboro, her mother - Bertha Faye Davis of Du Quoin, one granddaughter - Ariah Geilhausen of Charleston, S.C., one grandson - Gentry Heiple of Murphysboro, two sisters - Jodie Wilson of Marion and April VanVoorhis of Du Quoin, two aunts - Betty VanHoorebeke of Pinckneyville and Viola Hitt of Tamaroa, one uncle - Richard Miller of Indiana, one nephew and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father and one uncle - Aaron Miller, Jr.

Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. John Nordstrom officiating.

Those attending the service were asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to Pat&#39;s Kids and will be accepted at the funeral home.
