James Fulton Robb
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James F. Robb, 91 years, of Coulterville, Ill. passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Coulterville Care Center, Ill.
James F. Robb was born Nov. 24, 1918 to Samuel Leonard and Sarah (Fulton) Robb in Lost Prairie, Ill. south of Swanwick, Illinois. At nine months of age, Coulterville became his lifelong home. On June 17, 1939, he married Nelda Marie Bouas, a marriage blessed with 71 years.
He was a member of the Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church. Additionally, he was a 50 year member of the following Masonic affiliated organizations: Hope Lodge of Sparta, 33rd degree member of the Scottish Rite of Belleville, Ill., Ainad Shrine Temple of East St. Louis, Ill., and the Randolph County Shrine Club. He was the sole remaining charter member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Pinckneyville, Ill. and an elected member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Coulterville, Ill. He was well known in the area as a retired farmer and Operating Engineer. He enjoyed piloting small aircraft, bowling, playing cards, fishing and camper traveling and watching Cardinal Baseball games.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda, of Coulterville, Ill.; three children, son Samuel James Robb and wife Myrna of Pinckneyville, Ill., son Richard Frank Robb and wife Judie of Lake Creek, Tex. and daughter Judith Kay Robb Stewart and husband Tom of Carterville, Ill.; grandchildren, Jodee Ellen Boyd Caupert and husband John of Waterloo, Ill.; Sarah Marie Robb King and husband Patrick "Trey" of Lake Creek Tex., Fahran Kathaleen Jaymes Robb of Pinckneyville, Ill., Erin Elizabeth Stewart Dixon and husband Brian of Carterville, Ill., Makahla Anne Robb Shurtz and husband Roger of Carterville, Ill., Jessica Kathleen Stewart of New York , N.Y.; and great-grandchildren Jaynanne Elizabeth Caupert of Waterloo, Ill. and Maysun Sky King of Lake Creek, Tex.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, and three sisters.
Funeral Services were held at the Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church, 209 South 7th Street, Coulterville, Ill. on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor James Ryan officiating. Interment was in Coulterville City Cemetery.
Friends may called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, Ill. on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the Grandcote Reformed Presbyterian Church on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Masonic services will be conducted by Hope Lodge, Sparta, Ill. on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
