Casimer Kroll

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Casimer Kroll, 91, of Nashville, Ill. departed this life at the Washington County Hospital Emergency Room in Nashville, on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:50 p.m.

Casimer was born on Jan. 20, 1919 at Bolo Township, Washington County, Ill. the son of Frank and Anna (Bochantin) Kroll. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Luchinski on June 4, 1966 at Radom, Ill. and she preceded him in death on April 20, 1995.

Mr. Kroll was a member of the United States Army, having served in World War II. Casimer worked and loved being a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, Ill. and the St. Louis Metro Polka Club.

Left to mourn his passing are his son Michael Perry and special friend Amy Lappin of DuBois, Ill.; his daughter, Cynthia Bunge and her husband David of Du Quoin, Ill.; a brother, Raymond Kroll of Todds Mill, Ill.; a sister, Mary Ann Frost and her husband Leonard of St. Louis, Mo; six grandchildren, Dawn Marie Perry, Jason Keller, Nicole Perry, Jordan Keller, Miranda Bunge and Cole Michael Perry; three great grandchildren, Zackary McIntosh, Kaylee McIntosh and Zane Perry; nieces, nephews, other relations and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 2 sisters, Eleanor Kozuszek and Nettie Kostecki

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, Ill. on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Bernard Goedde officiating and with interment in the church cemetery.

Military graveside rites were accorded by American Legion Post #110.

Friends called at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, Ill. on Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 7:30 until 9:30 a.m.

A Prayer Service was held at the Campagna Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
