Edda Jo Dye

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edda Jo Dye, 81, of Lincoln, Ill., formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at Christian Village in Lincoln, Ill.

She had worked as a clothing salesperson at Carol VanLaw Ladies Clothing store in Decatur and at Genevieve's Dress Shop in Lincoln, Ill. She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

She was born Jan., 29, 1929 in Mulkeytown to Aldred and Cleo Dick. She married John E. Mann Jr. in 1946 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1963. She then married Donald R. Dye on Sept. 16, 1966 at Lincoln Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband of Lincoln, Ill.; two sons, Paul (Nina) Mann of Doylestown, Pa. and Mark (Lona) Mann of Lincoln, Ill.; one daughter, Melody (Scott) Mack of Lincoln, Ill.; one brother, James Ohmann Dick of Christopher, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.

A private family memorial service was held at a later date. There was no visitation.
