Tena Ann Tuthill
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Tena Ann Tuthill, 62, of Dowell, passed away at 11:43 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital at Du Quoin.
Tena was a homemaker. She had attended Murdale Baptist Church at Carbondale. She was a member of the Murphysboro American Legion Auxiliary and was an avid bingo player. She loved to watch her grandkids play ball.
She was born Sept. 17, 1948 at Makanda, Ill., the daughter of Samuel M. and Margaret M. (Messer) Stuber.
She married Kenneth E. Tuthill on Sept. 24, 1966 at the EUB Church at Vergennes, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Dowell, three sons - Eric Tuthill of Waltonville, Brian Tuthill and wife Barbara of Elkville, and Kevin Tuthill of Dowell, three grandchildren - Caitlyn Marie Tuthill, Braden Keith Tuthill, and Brianna Lynn Tuthill, and was to be a great grandmother in a few months, one sister - Alice Marie Wolfe and husband Sheldon of Hobart, Ind., one niece - Peggy Coundiff of Hobart, Ind., one nephew - Michael Wolfe of Du Quoin, four step siblings - Della Wolfe of Du Quoin, Bob Cook of Du Quoin, Kenny Ray Cook, and Joann Little of Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her father - Samuel M. Stuber and her mother - Margaret M. Cook.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Paul Hicks officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial was in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville.
Friends may make memorials to the Seitman Cancer Research at Washington University - Barnes-Jewish Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
