Maxine Yeager

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Maxine Yeager, age 79, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 at 4:25 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Maxine was born on Feb. 19, 1931 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Robert and Florence "Toots" (Reidelberger) Hester. On May 27, 1950, she married Harlan "Shine" Yeager in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he survives. Maxine was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and the Pinckneyville Lion's Club. She was a florist at Erwin's Florist for 40 years. Maxine enjoyed playing cards, being an election judge and was an avid Pinckneyville Panther Fan. She loved her family and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Harlan "Shine" Yeager of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two daughters, Barbara (Marty) Kirby of Tamaroa, Ill. and Connie (Doug) Valentine of Pinckneyville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Amanda Kirby, Katie Kirby and Ryan Valentine (fianc&#233;, Stephanie Gartside); two sisters, Normadene Kellerman and Sharon (Nelson) Rule all of Pinckneyville, Ill. and several dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Hester.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Tim Bauersachs officiating. Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
