William Calvin Huggins

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William Calvin Huggins, 51, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:44 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Calvin was an electrician and worked in timber. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #930 in Pinckneyville and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2522 in Pinckneyville.

He was born April 1, 1961 at Pinckneyville, Ill., the son of Virgil E. and Helen L. (Taylor) Huggins.

He married Merry Jane Daniel on March 8, 1996 at Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, two daughters - Cindy Jane Huggins and April Lee Brawdy, both of Du Quoin, one son - William Virgil Huggins of Du Quoin, one step son - Scott Allen Moll of Du Quoin, two step daughters - Mary Geneva Williams of Lenzburg and Sarah Lynn Shrout of Marissa, three sisters - Loretta Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, Carolyn Goodman and husband John of Pinckneyville and Louise Irvin of Cutler, two brothers - Mike Huggins and wife Kris of Pinckneyville and Keith Huggins of Ina and 17 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers - Virgil Edward Huggins and James Steven Huggins, one granddaughter and one grandson.

Memorial services were held at the family residence on Saturday, May 26, 2012 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Friends were invited to come and join the celebration of life services for Calvin.

Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted by the family or at the funeral home.
