Delores M. Pursell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Delores M. Pursell, age 91, of Du Quoin, Ill., formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 9:41 am in Centralia Manor Nursing Home in Centralia, Illinois.

Delores was born on April 18, 1921 in Elkville, Ill., a daughter to James L. and Mae (Hoffman) Stone. On July 31, 1943, she married Arthur "Cotton" Pursell and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1997. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting antiques.

Delores is survived by two sons, Perry L. (Pat) Pursell of Centralia, Ill. and Drew D. Pursell of Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Jim (Audrey) Stone and Jack (Dorett) Stone all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; sister, Janet (Dallas) Moore of South Roxanna, Ill.; two grandchildren, Erin Marlowe of Bend, Oregon and Haley Pursell of Portland, Oregon and two great-grandchildren, Nora and Lizzie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Peggy Steele and June Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
