Verna Mae Schaudt

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Verna Mae Schaudt, age 71, of Lost Prairie, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:10 p.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Ill.

Verna Mae was born on May 25, 1941 in Cutler, Ill., a daughter to William and Edna H. (Habermann) Schaudt. Verna Mae was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Conant, Ill. She enjoyed stitching and sewing handiwork and loved animals.

Verna Mae is survived by her brother, Willard Dale (Dorothy) Schaudt of Cutler, Ill.; one nephew, John (Amber) Schaudt of Benton, Ky.; one niece, Jessie Schaudt (Jason Lowe) of Carlyle, Ill. and several dear cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters in infancy and one brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conant, Ill. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend David Kollmeyer officiating. Interment will be in Lost Prairie Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Lost Prairie Cemetery Association.
