Harry E. Neville

Harry E. "Duke" Neville, age 66, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 in Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center, Herculaneum, Mo.

Duke was born on Oct. 15, 1945 in Du Quoin, Ill., a son to Joseph and Dorothy (Shaw) Loucks. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed at Spartan Light Metal Products, Sparta, Ill. for over 20 years. Duke enjoyed hunting, playing cards and was an avid sports fan, especially watching baseball. He dearly loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include three sons, James (April) Neville of Pinckneyville, Ill., Jeff (Kimberly) Neville of Percy, Ill. and Randy (Sharon) Williams of Percy, Ill. seven brothers and one sister, Lyle Dean Neville, Brenda (Pearl) Rice, Joe (Betty) Loucks, James Loucks, all of Coulterville, Ill., William (Danita) Loucks of Chester, Ill., Donald Loucks of Coulterville, Ill., Clarence "Tex" (Eva) Loucks of Sparta, Ill. and Claude "Gerald" (Sandy) Loucks of Percy, Ill.; 11 grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Military rites will be provided by Presswood Dafron American Legion Post #2504.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
