Taylor Louise Laxton

Taylor Louise Laxton, age 4, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Taylor was born on Feb. 26, 2010 in Carbondale, Ill., a daughter to Nickolas and Mary Elizabeth (Keelin) Laxton. Taylor attended Cutler Baptist Church, Cutler, Ill., attended preschool at the SIU Pre-K Program at Pinckneyville Community High School and Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and played t-ball on the Pinckneyville team. She loved hunting and working with her dad and spending time with her big brother. Taylor was full of life and easy to love and everyone knew her smiling face. Taylor was a generous soul and gave the gift of life as an organ donor.

Survivors include her parents, Nick and Mary Elizabeth Laxton of Pinckneyville, Ill.; big brother, Connor Charles Laxton of Perryville, Mo; maternal grandparents, Clifford and Paula Keelin of Pinckneyville, Ill.; paternal grandparents, John and Tina Laxton of Pinckneyville, Ill.; special friends, the Benbrook and Connway families; several aunts, uncles and cousins

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Mark Lee officiating. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
