Josephine “Jo” Reidelberger

Josephine "Jo" Reidelberger, age 92, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 4:33 a.m. in DuQuoin Nursing and Rehabilitation, DuQuoin, IL.

Jo was born on February 24, 1923 in Perry County, IL, a daughter to Antone and Mary (Phillips) Kellerman. On November 11, 1946, she married Loren "Gene" Reidelberger in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2008. Jo was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL, Catholic Daughters and worked at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory, Pinckneyville, IL before she was married. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, quilting and sewing.

Survivors include one son, Loren (Vicky) Reidelberger of DuQuoin, IL; two daughters, Brenda (Rich) Gilliam of DuQuoin, IL and Deborah (Mike) Young of Cutler, IL; a son-in-law, Jerry Kelly, Swanwick, IL; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Borawski of Collinsville, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Cheryl Kelly; a brother, Louis V. Kellerman; a sister, Regina Heisner; two brothers-in-law, Frank Borawski and Sylvester Heisner and a sister-in-law, Normadine Kellerman.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, IL on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde officiating, Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Cemetery, Todds Mill, IL.

Friends may call at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery Fund, Todds Mill, IL.
