Obituary for Richard Lee Sprengel

<span>Richard Lee Sprengel, age 55, of Fayetteville, Tenn., passed away on January 27, 2016. He was born on October 6, 1960 in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Oscar William and Bertha May Oetjen Sprengel.</span>

<span>Sprengel was employed as data technician for the Von Braun Center, Huntsville, Ala.. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his dog, Peetie.</span>

<span>He is survived by his wife: Lisa Faye Sprengel of Fayetteville, Tenn.; brothers: Robert and Kathy Sprengel of Chester and Roger and Donna Sprengel of Belleville; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs: Cookie, Lilly and Honey Bear.</span>

<span>Celebration of Life services will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Johnson officiating.</span>

<span>Visitation was Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rock Family Worship Center: Celebrate Recovery Program, 2300 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville, AL 35801.</span>
