Obituary for Charles Weinrich

Charles Weinrich, 84, of Perryville died February 20, 2016 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born June 23, 1931 in Longtown, Mo., son of Rudolph W. and Esther A. (Ochs) Weinrich.

He married Lorine M. Doering on May 12, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1990.

Charles was a farmer of livestock & agriculture. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Also a member of American Legion Post 133, Perryville Eagles Lodge and loved to farm.

Survivors include one son and one daughter; Nancy (Glenn) Klump of St. Louis and Daniel Weinrich of Perryville, two brothers and one sister; Herbert (Ruth) Weinrich of Longtown, Alfred (Kathy) Weinrich of Noblesville, Indiana and Marie Katt of Brazeau, four grandchildren; Jeremy (Kayla) Klump and Amanda (Jesse) Ochs all of Perryville, Kristin (Stephen) Hayes and Zachary Klump all of St. Louis, five great-grandchildren; Trevor, Landon and Evan Ochs, Mia Hayes and Graham Klump.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one baby brother; Milton and one brother-in-law; Elmer Katt.

Visitation was held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, February 22 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating.

Burial in the Church Cemetery with Military Graveside service provided by American Legion and Military Honors Team.

Memorials are preferred for Immanuel Lutheran School.
