Debra Kattenbraker, formerly of Steeleville
STEELEVILLE - Debra Kattenbraker, 59, of Livingston, Texas and formerly of Steeleville, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Livingston.
Debra was born in Red Bud, Illinois, on April 4, 1960, the daughter of Glenn and Carole Breithaupt Miner. She was married to Michael D. Kattenbraker on June 9, 1984 by the Rev. Floyd Jent in Chester, Illinois.
Debra was retired and was a housewife. She attended the Lutheran church. She enjoyed doing yard work and taking care of animals. She would take a morning walk and smell her flowers.
Debra is survived by her husband, Michael D. Kattenbraker of Livingston, Texas; son, Todd Michael Kattenbraker of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; grandson, Ty Kattenbraker of Du Quoin; parents Glenn and Carole Breithaupt Miner of Livingston, Texas; half-sister, Bobbette Cook of Mesa, Arizona; brothers, Glenn (Brenda) Miner of Livingston, Mark (Samantha) Miner of Springs, Texas and Chad (fiancee, Nikki) Miner of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.
Debra was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Betty Kattenbraker, and her brother-in-law Joe Kattenbraker.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, with the Rev. Edwin Reuter officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville.
Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2 and from 7:30 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
