Bost, local physician host teleconference on COVID-19

Last week, congressman Mike Bost hosted a telephone town hall for residents of the 12th congressional district, putting them directly in touch with a local doctor who answered questions about the coronavirus pandemic.

"We were joined by Dr. Josh Miksanek from SIH Herrin Hospital, who gave an update on what he is seeing in southern Illinois hospitals and provided helpful insight about the health implications of this virus," Bost said in a new release.

"We covered a lot of ground during the call, including questions about social distancing, testing, and economic support in the CARES Act."
