Franklin County sheriff's blotter
The following incidents were obtained from Franklin County Sheriff David L. Bartoni. Note that arrests, charges and citations are allegations only, not findings of guilt.
<h3 class="breakHead">April 5</h3>
• Deputies arrested Dusty D. Traughber, 41, of Benton on a charge of unlawful trespass on railroad property. She was transported to the Franklin County Jail, where she later posted bond.
• Deputies ticketed John K. Bettis, 55, of Logan for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
<h3 class="breakHead">April 6</h3>
• Deputies arrested Kristy L. Piazza, 39, of Logan on a charge of unlawful violation of an order of protection. She was transported to the Franklin County Jail, where she later posted bond.
• Deputies ticketed Sheila J. Burns, 72, of Benton for operating an uninsured vehicle.
• Deputies ticketed Mavro M. Wallace, 18, of Benton for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
<h3 class="breakHead">April 7</h3>
• Deputies arrested James J. Mutchek, 54, of West Frankfort on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
• Deputies ticketed Charles M. Hayden Jr., 40, of Logan for having an expired registration sticker.
• Deputies arrested Michael L. Moore, 43, of West Frankfort on a warrant for failure to appear for unlawful restraint.
<h3 class="breakHead">April 8</h3>
• Deputies ticketed Jamey R. Stevenson, 43, of Tamaroa for speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle.
• Deputies arrested Brett R. Eubanks, 30, of Benton on a warrant for failure to appear for aggravated battery.
<h3 class="breakHead">April 9</h3>
• Deputies arrested Kandice E. Stanley, 33, of West Frankfort on charges of domestic battery and endangering the life or health of a child. She was transported to the Franklin County Jail, where she later posted bond.
• Deputies arrested Joseph D. Gouge, 40, of Buckner on a warrant for aggravated assault and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Gouge was additionally charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
• Deputies arrested Christopher D. Smith, 47, of Benton on a warrant for failure to appear for aggravated battery.

• Deputies ticketed Michael S. Wright, 54, of West Frankfort for operating an uninsured vehicle.
• Deputies ticketed Daniel R. Peterson, 39, of Herrin for driving while license revoked.
• Deputies arrested Bradley V. Schmidt, 38, of West Frankfort on a Madison County warrant for violation of a court order.
• Deputies arrested Heather M. Keating, 37, of Benton on a warrant for failure to appear for child endangerment.

• Deputies ticketed David R. Stultz, 28, of West Frankfort for speeding.
• Deputies arrested Charley J. Craig, 29, of Herrin on a warrant for failure to appear for operating a vehicle while registration was revoked.
• Deputies arrested Breanna R. Moulton, 20, of Mt. Carmel on a warrant for failure to appear for theft.
