Anna Pearl Bowles of Chester
Anna Pearl Bowles, 88, of Chester, passed away at 7:54 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her home in Chester.
She was born to George and Florence (nee Pyle) McCreary on Nov. 17, 1929 in Doniphan, Missouri. She married Warren G. Bowles on Aug. 7, 1948 in New Haven, Illinois. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1999.
Anna was a retired bindery worker at Spartan Printing. She was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Chapter No. 738.
Survivors include three children, Warren G. Bowles, Jr. of Chester, Tom (Chris) Bowles of Chester and Nancy Bowles of Perryville, Missouri; one brother, Wilmer McCreary of Olney, Ill.; five grandchildren, Warren Bowles III, Christopher Bowles, Amy (Scott) Wunderlich, April Bowles (Jordan Gremmels), and Adrienne (Justin) Baker; eight great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren G. Bowles, Sr.; one son, Dennis Lee Bowles; one sister, Dolly Steele; and one brother, Arthur McCreary.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, 839 Lehmen Drive, Chester, with the Rev. Phil Keeton officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Visitation will be held 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.
