Obituary for Rosie Marie Usher

ROSIE MARIE USHER, 95, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">9:30 am</span></span>, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chester.

She was born to the late William and Anna (nee Wegele) Baus on February 24, 1921 in Alexander, Kan.

She was raised on a Kansas farm but moved to Chester after she was married.

She married Leo J. Usher on July 21, 1944. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2009.

Rosie was a Jehovah's Witness.

She was a loving wife and mother, who worked over 40 years as a nurse. Her passing is a great loss to us all and she will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include 1 Daughter - Gay Lynn (Joe) Schoenberger, St. Louis, MO; 2 Sons - Gary Usher, Chester, Michael (Joanne) Usher, Albuquerque, NM; 8 Grandchildren - Tia (Brad) Reid, Bryant (Michelle) Birchler, Cory (Erin) Usher, Chase (Cody) Usher, Joshua (Tara) Usher, Dustin (Sarah) Usher and Katye (Brian) Minge 8 Great- Grandchildren - Emily, Tyler, Marcus, Alexis, Clayton, Austin, Connor, Anton and Ayden; 3 Siblings - Paul Baus, Billy (Barbara) Baus, Wilma (Diz) Washaliski; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Leo J. Usher and 2 Brothers - Elmer Baus and Raymond Baus.

Graveside Service <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">11 a.m. </span></span><span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">Tuesday, March 15, 2016</span></span> at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville with Elder Paul Horn officiating.

Interment in Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville.
