Lena F. Mountain

Lena F. Mountain, 66, of Murphysboro, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:40 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at her residence.

Lena had worked as a RN for 30 years at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was born Aug. 7, 1946 at Martinsville, Ind., the daughter of Herschel and Winona (Houghland) Barnett.

She is survived by one son - Tobhe Barnett and fiancee Andrea Moore of Murphysboro, one daughter - Christe Barnett of Murphysboro, two grandchildren - Logan Barnett and Celine Barnett, both of Steeleville, two sisters - Debra Barnett of Murphysboro and Joetta Hynik of Warsaw, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Fr. Nick Junker officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin at a later date.
