Delmar Lee Reidelberger, formerly of Du Quoin
Delmar Lee Reidelberger, 80, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Delmar had been self-employed as an owner of a truck wash in Gainesville, Ga. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin and Louisville, Ky.
He was born October 3, 1937 at Du Quoin the son of Maurice and Chloe (Morrisey) Reidelberger.
He married Diane May Richardson on Dec. 23, 1956 at Waukegan and she preceded him in death on Dec. 17, 1968. He then married Janice Hundley on June 11, 2002 at Louisville, Ky. and she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 2015.
He is survived by three children - Gary Dean Reidelberger and wife Deb of Springfield; Roger Reidelberger of Buford, Ga., and Lisa Dendekker-Redemann and husband Shawn of Louisville, Ky.
Additional survivors include three brothers - Byford Reidelberger of Pinckneyville; Maurice Reidelberger and Paul Reidelberger, both of Du Quoin; five grandchildren - Ashton Reidelberger, Brittli Reidelberger, Paul Dendekker, Reagan Redemann and Josie Redemann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, one son - Dale A. Reidelberger, and one sister - Phyllis Gates.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Gaylen Holden officiating.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the family for medical expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
