Mary Ann Mohr of Pinckneyville

PINCKNEYVILLE - Mary Ann Mohr, 81, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 4:53 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

Mary Ann was born on May 29, 1937 in Dongola, a daughter to Roy and Theresa (Rendleman) Fuller. On Dec. 17, 1954, she married Carl Mohr in Mississippi and he survives.

She worked as a nurse's aide at Pinckneyville Community Hospital for several years and provided home care for many people.

She was baptized at and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Rice, Illinois. Mary Ann enjoyed water aerobics and always had a heart for and loved doing things for others like canning, quilting, making dolls and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of over 63 years, Carl Mohr, of Pinckneyville; five children, Carla (Jerry) Bruns of Pinckneyville, Mark Mohr of Pinckneyville, Randy (Laurie) Mohr of Nashville, Sherry (Kevin) Johnson of Mary Esther, Florida and Susan (Donnie) Dasher of Pinckneyville; a sister, Doris Adams of Millstadt; three brothers, Earl (Pat) Fuller of East Peoria, Carl (Pat) Fuller of East Peoria, and Bill (Pat) Fuller of Washington, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Mohr; and three brothers, Kenneth Fuller, Edward Fuller and Ronald Fuller.

A public visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5. At 12:30 p.m., the family will host a Celebration of Life luncheon at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, and the public is invited.

A private family graveside service will be held with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.
