Fourth graders win Principal Awards at DES

Two fourth graders are the 2020-21 recipients of the Du Quoin Elementary School Illinois Principal Awards recipients.

Ashlyn Strode and Tucker Wright are "brilliant and creative students, both outstanding young scholars and models of excellent character," said Principal Diana Rea in a news release.

"As principal, I was honored to recognize them," Rea added, "and invite you to join me in celebrating with them and their parents this outstanding accomplishment, the beginning of many awards during their school careers. Congratulations Ashlyn and Tucker!"
