Chamber awards banquet is next Friday

The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual awards banquet, set for next Friday, Feb. 21 at the SIU Student Center.

The banquet, to be held from 5:30 to 10 p.m., will celebrate the contributions of local businesses, community leaders and organizations that have played roles in Carbondale’s development. The evening will include a networking reception, dinner and an awards presentation. Each honoree will have the opportunity to share brief remarks upon receiving their award.

“We are thrilled to recognize these outstanding businesses and individuals who continue to make a lasting impact on our community,” said William Lo, executive director of the chamber. “Their dedication and leadership contribute to Carbondale’s growth, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.”
