Newman Center to host free Thanksgiving meal

Hundreds of area residents are expected to partake in the annual Thanksgiving Day Meal held at the Newman Catholic Student Center Thursday, Nov 28. Last year,

more than 1,000 total meals were served (in-person, delivery, and carry-out).

A hot meal of turkey, traditional holiday side dishes and desserts will be served from noon until 2 p.m. The Newman Center is located at 715 S. Washington St.

This event is free, and all are invited to enjoy food and fellowship. No reservations are necessary. Meals can to be delivered to those who are unable to attend. Delivery requests will be taken until Monday, Nov 25 at 3 p.m. Individuals, families and seniors are welcome.
