Jimmy Dion Killman of Ozark

Jimmy Dion Killman, 70, of Ozark died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at Zion Cemetery near Ozark with military rites by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and Army National Guard Ritual Team. There will be no visitation. All friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dion was born Dec. 15, 1951, in Harrisburg to the late James Douglas and Doris Loretta (Knowles) Killman.

He was a graduate of Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School.

He retired from the Vienna Correctional Center after 25 years as a correctional officer.

He was an Army veteran. He was also a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion and the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Derek (Katie Grathler) Killman of Ozark; sister Kathy (Jeffrey Doss) Hearn of Creal Springs; niece Demita (Steve) Martinez of Lake of Egypt; and several cousins.
