Children at S7 Head Start celebrate Heart Month
February was American Heart Month, and students enrolled at Southern Seven Head Start sites throughout deep southern Illinois celebrated by wearing red.
Children at Mounds Head Start Early Learning Center learned what their heart does along with comparing a valentine heart to a human heart. They even listened to their own heartbeat.
On Valentine's Day families were given a Valentine's Day Heart along with some healthy heart tips.
