Seniors inch back into PBIS lead

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School just completed its fifth PBIS Event of the year. Homeroom Challenge #5, the Spirit Wall Competition, took place during Homecoming Week. Each class was given a section of the gym to decorate for the Homecoming Game.

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.

The freshman class worked with a "Space Jam" theme; the sophomore's theme was "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air": the junior class celebrated Purple & Gold: Go Wildcats; and the seniors' theme was "High School Musical."

Each class was responsible for their own theme and their own decorations, and they were given 90 minutes to decorate their wall.

The high school faculty and staff then voted for their favorite Spirit Wall.

The Senior Class earned first place, the sophomore class won second place; third place went to the freshmen and fourth place to the juniors.

Mathews Mighty Marvels, the seniors, were presented with the Victory is Ours trophy after the event.

After five PBIS events, the senior class leads the school overall with 44 total points, the sophomores are close behind with 42 points, the freshmen are in third with 28 points, and the juniors are in fourth with 26 points. The class with the most points after the final event will win a pizza party on May 6.
