Megan Rector, a Coulterville resident and the financial wellness relationship manager at Regions Bank, has been named 2022 auxiliary board chair for the Illinois Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis. "United Way plays a critical role in the St. Louis region and southern Illinois community by funding many local health and human service agencies, creating an incredible impact in the lives of so many of our neighbors," said Rector. "I look forward to the work we'll accomplish to help the community this year." Rector has been with Regions Bank since 2012 and in her most current role, she helps to create extensive relationships and drive engagement with clients by helping them achieve their financial goals.

<b>Ash Wednesday at Peace Lutheran</b>

Peace Lutheran Church, 303 N. Mulberry St. in Steeleville, will hold Ash Wednesday services at 12:30 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. The traditional service includes the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.
