Go on a blind date with a book at Steeleville library

The Steeleville Area Public Library is planning the following events in February:

• Through Feb. 19 - Blind Date with a Book: Check out a "blind date" book from our display based only on the first line. Rate your date and return the rating form to the library by March 1 to be entered into a prize drawing!

• Feb. 12: Valentine's Day Curbside Crafts

• Feb. 21: Library Closed for Presidents Day

• Feb. 22: 7 p.m. board meeting

Book club

It's not too late to join book club. Fill out a survey at the library and we will let you know when the meeting will be and what we're reading.

Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board will have its first meeting Wednesday, Jan. 26. Teens in eighth to 12th grades are welcome to join. Call the library to get a schedule for future meetings.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

400 Books: Mollie Smith, age 1, daughter of Sean and Heather Smith of Wine Hill.

100 Books: Noah Walls, age 4, son of Robert and Katie Walls of Percy.
