Tracy Ann Murry Morgan, formerly of Pinckneyville

Tracy Ann Murry Morgan, 56, of Street, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2022 with her husband, sister and brother by her side.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1965, the daughter of Keith and Mary Ann Murry.

She grew up and graduated from high school in Pinckneyville, Illinois. She graduated from Rend Lake College.

Tracy moved to Nashville, Tennessee and married Heath Morgan in 1988. They moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1994, and moved to Maryland in 2003.

Tracy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2019. She made many friends while receiving treatment in both Maryland and Arizona. Tracy was an advocate and friend for those she met in person and those in cancer groups online, always trying to be a positive voice.

Tracy was married for 33 years and is survived and loved by her husband Heath; her sons Silas Morgan and Cole Morgan; her daughter-in-law, Sarah; two grandchildren, Tyler and Adeline, and a granddaughter due in June; her father, Keith Murry of Du Quoin; her sister Cindy (Rusty) Maples; her brother, Trevor (Sarah) Murry; and her dogs, Charley and Botch. She is also survived by Micki and Judy, who she was especially proud to call friends.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
