The Chester Chamber of Commerce has decided to postpone its annual Night at the Races scheduled for Jan. 21. The chamber will provide an updated date and time when available.

<b>Bring human rights complaints to panel</b>

The Egyptian Regional Human Rights Authority of the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Mackie's Pizza Meeting Room, 2704 Walton Way in Marion, to review complaints concerning allegations that the rights of persons with disabilities are being violated. If you believe the rights of a person with disabilities are being violated, you may report this at the meeting or contact the Disability Rights Manager, Kim Conway, at (618) 833-2013.
