Harley Deon Tite of Ozark
Harley Deon Tite, 73, of Ozark, Illinois, died at 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 at Clover Thistle Cemetery, 870 Dry Fork Road in Ozark. The Rev. Pete Slivinski will officiate. There will be no visitation, all family and friends should go directly to the cemetery.
Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, Illinois, is assisting the family with the details.
Harley was born on Aug. 20, 1948 in Ozark, Illinois to the late Wilford and Tressie (Scarborough) Tite.
He married the former Connie Tanner on Aug. 14, 1965 and she survives.
Harley was a coal miner and he worked in coal recovery. He also loved to camp and fish. He attended the New Burnside Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Tite of Ozark; three children, Eric Tite of Ozark, Angela Masters of Vienna, Illinois and Melissa Cain of Johnston City, Illinois; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Cindy McCabe and Libby Bundren; and four brothers, Kelly Tite, Esdon Tite, Kirk Tite and Jerry Tite.
