H2H to hold Music Trivia Fundraiser for Boys and Girls Club
MARION - If you think you know music, you'll have an opportunity to prove it at House 2 Home Realty's Music Trivia Night with DJ Big Papa G.
This event, to be held at Kokopelli Clubhouse in Marion at 6 p.m. June 5, will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois.
"We are really excited for the opportunity to do something for the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois," says H2H Realty Owner and Managing Broker Celia Robertson. "This organization provides a safe place for school-aged children during non-school hours to learn and develop with the help of caring, trained adult mentors. House 2 Home Realty and its brokers love the work they're doing and very much want to support their efforts in our area."
The night of the event, doors will open at 5 p.m. at Kokopelli Clubhouse, located at 1527 Champions Dr., Marion. Trivia will begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at the Marion or Carterville House 2 Home Realty office locations. The H2H Marion office is located at 2400A Williamson County Parkway on the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson parking lot, and the H2H Carterville office is located at 1301 S. Division St.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event if seats are still available.
"If you have never been to a Big Papa G event, you're in for a fun night," Robertson says. "We had him entertain at our Christmas party a couple of years ago, and he did a great job. This isn't your typical trivia night. Big Papa G knows how to get the crowd involved, and if you love music and trivia, I promise you'll have a great time!"
Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Participants are encouraged to decorate their table to win a prize for creativity, too.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase, but participants can also bring their own snacks.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois is an after-school program that serves children ages 5 to 18. They provide programs that focus on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. To learn more, go to http://www.bgcsi.org.
