The Du Quoin High School Class of 2021 asked for God's blessing on Sunday, the first step in a week that leads to their graduation on Friday.
"OK graduates, tell your neighbors you now know more and more about less and less," advised Kent Eaton, pastor of Second Baptist Church who delivered the message at the service, held inside First Baptist Church in Du Quoin.
It was primarily a student-run service, with Sophie Davis at the piano. and poems, scripture readings and prayers offered by Addison Carver, Jacqueline Crain, Summer Woodside, Olivia Chapman, Makayla Davis and Yesenia Estrada.
